I have been practicing witchcraft for over 30 years. I have served as High Priest and leader of various covens and magical groups. I have my own tradition that I sometimes share with private students. I am fairly reclusive, but occasionally I offer public classes and rituals. During the Autumn months you may find me at local festivals, doing tarot readings, energy healing and selling my home-made magical items. I have two books, ReAwakening the Witch: Practical Exercises to ReAwaken Your Magical Self, and Old Ways Witchery: Nature, Magic and Service, that are currently available through various online booksellers, including Amazon. I have written numerous articles for pagan magazines, including Witch Way Magazine, The Grimoire Society and Witches Magazine (UK).
My personal practice blends Celtic Paganism, Druidry and Old Ways Witchcraft. I believe in a more rooted form of witchcraft, one that pre-dates Wicca and other modern magical systems. I honor various Celtic deities throughout the year, but I am a devotee of Cerridwen, the Welsh Goddess of Inspiration and Transformation. Her story is ancient, many-layered and touches every area of my life. To me, she is Witch, Goddess and Mother. In 2015, I joined the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, as my practice blends Druidry and Witchcraft.
I am an avid student of the occult, but I also enjoy a bit of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes. I listen to loads of Celtic and New Age music, with some David Bowie and Radiohead for good measure. I drink far too much coffee, and an occasional Guinness or glass of brandy. I can be easily tempted with pumpkin pie or chocolate fudge. I love visiting London, and I’m a devoted anglophile, as most of my favorite entertainment comes from the United Kingdom.
I live with my husband in a secluded mountain cottage, surrounded by trees and all manner of wildlife. Just like the wise-women and cunning-men of old, I live on the outskirts of town at the edge of the forest. My solitude is precious, as is my practice of the Old Ways of Witchcraft.
I do hope you will subscribe to my posts.
