The Old Ways Are Alive

I have been practicing witchcraft for over thirty years. I am a Witch of the Old Ways, living in a secluded cottage in the Pocono Mountains. Over the years I have served as High Priest of various covens and groups, and have spoken at colleges and schools about the mysteries of magic and witchcraft. These days I am fairly reclusive and solitary, but I do offer my services to the community from time to time.

What are the Old Ways? Some modern witches scoff at this term, but the ‘Old Ways’ simply refer to beliefs and practices that pre-date modern Wicca and other modern magical systems. In my practice, this includes Celtic Paganism, Druidry, Occult Philosophy and Esoteric Wisdom that has been passed down through the centuries.

The Old Ways teach us that the realm of nature is alive and sentient. Plants and stones have an inherent spirit. The universe and elemental forces of Earth, Air, Fire and Water can be harnessed to bring change. Witches of the Old Ways are connected to nature, skilled in magic and devoted to service.

The ancient stories of the Old Ones provide wisdom and guidance. Within these tales are many hidden lessons. The Old Ones still speak to those whose hearts and minds are opened to them.

Magic has the power to bring change and transformation, and we seek to preserve the old knowledge that has been passed down, from those who are now with us only in spirit.

In the cauldron, there is wisdom.
